As the CQC registered manager your policies and procedures will be managed with precision. You know all the expiry dates and have effective systems in place to maintain 100% compliance across the board. No stone will be left unturned.
You recognise that a practice is also a business, it must be profitable. You can successfully use social media, write a marketing piece, and speak to new patients about their treatment options with ease.
Your team are an asset to you as you understand that whether you are managing a dentist or a nurse, they are people, they need to be valued and invested in and you know how best to do this. Managing staff isn’t always easy, but that doesn’t phase you, you know HR inside and out, and will happily nip a problem in the bud or offer praise when needed.
You are a manager first but also an active member of the team, you will turn your hand to anything. If there is a patient compliant to be managed, you are on it, but equally if the floor needs mopping you are there to lend a hand. You manage this practice as if it is your own and take great pride in making the experiences for all a positive one.
