As the practice manager, you will be fundamental to these ambitions. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and skills from working in the profession. It will be your job to nurture and grow the practice, maintaining the best elements of the close nit team and patient experience while effectively introducing new systems and procedures.
Here patients aren’t seen as UDAs. They are people first and foremost, reliant on the dedication and care of the professionals who work within the practice. This culture cannot be lost but you will ensure compliance and best practice shadow all the activities undertaken within the practice. You will also have a strong acumen for profitability and the need to make money.
You’ll know how effective a cuppa of tea is for de escalating a disagreement and yet more than happy to dig the HR policy when standards slip. Firm but fair, you’ll be capable of knocking together a strongly worded email or picking up a phone to sensitively explain a difficult situation.
