Having previous experience, you will know this role requires top level multi-tasking skills.
Regularly you will find yourself midway through an email, when a patient enters and then the phone starts to ring. You will manage these consistent pressures effortlessly with professionalism and outstanding customer care.
There are many administrative jobs to undertake too, so you will be capable of organising and managing filing systems, I.T., and internal practice processes.
For many the patient journey begins with you, therefore having a positive and pleasant demeanour is essential, while also being informed and professional. Your diligence and eye for detail will play a significant part in ensuring a smooth experience for all.
Communicating with patients will come easy to you, as will providing feedback and information to fellow team members. You will provide the first impression for patients and give much needed insight for clinicians who maybe seeing an anxious patient for the first time.
