It will be your job to take the goals and objectives, set by the principal dentist and deliver them.
Working at every level of the practice you will establish yourself as the backbone of the business. It will be your plans, systems and procedures that under pin the service delivery of the practice and ensure its profitability, develop its reputation and mitigate future commercial risk.
Yes, you will love a good KPI and everything has an ROI attached to it. Yet this is not accountancy. It requires tenacity and business acumen. The role is about future planning and that is something you know requires managed risk, clear decision making and continual assessment.
Everyone is a potential customer and as such their opinion is as valid as the principals, it is of course how you manage this information that defines your abilities. Your clinical knowledge will enable you to take an active role speaking to patients starting out on their treatment journey, answering any questions and queries they might have. You will be their point of contact.
Along with outstanding administrative skills and experience of accounting, invoicing, and industry specific software, you will be a great communicator, verbally and in writing. You must be able to communicate plans, reports, and decisions effectively and systems you introduce must be documented, flexible and easy to follow.
We look forward to applicants with dental management experience, and previous experience of business development will be a significant advantage.
