A cosy, warm and friendly practice boasting excellent dentistry and a high standard of patient care. Centrally located this practice is looking to welcome an experienced associate dentist to join their team.

You will be experienced in delivering NHS and private dentistry, confidently being able to provide a range of treatment options and successfully treat or refer as required. You may even bring additional skills to the practice, which will be welcomed and supported by the principal dentist.

In this two surgery practice you will be confident to work independently with nursing support, being able to make informed decisions and competently manage the patient base. You know what is required in respect of compliance and professional standards and are conscientious in making sure everything is completed correctly. You will uphold an excellent standard of patient care, offering a caring, friendly and informed service. Your patients look forward to their dental appointment with you, whilst the dental team enjoy spending their day working alongside you.

  The Role

A dedicated dentist who can consistently undertake all the following responsibilities:

·         Diagnose and provide appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals and surgical extractions. Other areas of dentistry welcomed such as implant and cosmetic dentistry.

·         Educate patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health.

·         Communicate with dental staff in our team regarding patient treatment plans.

·         Prescribe medications as necessary.

·         Carefully document all medications, diagnoses, treatments and consultations.

·         Supervise the work of professional, technical and administrative staff.

Will hold:

·         BDS, BChD or LDS qualification.

·         Current GDC registration to practise dentistry.

·         NHS Performer Number.

·         Valid malpractice liability insurance.

·         Up to date CPD.
